Try this for a hot cereal in the morning as a substitute for your comforting and warming oatmeal - while remaining gluten free and reaping all the benefits of the superfood quinoa to start your day.
Blend 1/4 cup of organic sprouted quinoa into a powder-like substance. Simmer quinoa powder in 1 cup boiling water and stir continuously until water absorbs and it becomes a paste. This literally takes like 30 seconds. Immediately stir in a spoonful of coconut oil, a splash of organic almond milk, a heaping dash of organic cinnamon, and a spoonful of Xyletol sweetener.
Its really yummy and quick and full of protein, antioxidants, amino acids and fiber. I include this in my breakfast almost 3 times a week.
